Our coatings have been developed in our labs and following our customer requirements. Standard vehicle is water and formulation are studied to reduce any foundry environment risks.
Technical and Material Safety Data Sheets are available upon request for each individual products.

The water based coatings are formulated to give insulating and conductive properties. The diluted product can be applied by spray gun or brush on steel, cast iron dies , dense refractory or ceramic surfaces in contact with molten non-ferrous alloys.

Insulating => coatings are used to control metal solidification process, minimize shrinkage behaviour of the alloy and give an appropriate surface cosmetic finish.

Lubricating => graphite based coatings are suitable to lubricate die mechanisms, slides and extracting pins to reduce wear on moving sections of the dies.

Protecting => agent family is including coating based on refractory materials capable to resist molten metal erosion. They provide a layer over the substrate which could be affected by metal temperature, wear and erosive behaviour.

	Fine	Newcote 2600	White Paste	White insulating coating for good surface finish. Ideal for low gravity, low pressure and cosmetic finish .
	Medium fine	Metalcote 24 S	Light grey Paste	Dressing with very high insulation properties, recommended for runners and feeding heads. Abrasion resistant. Used on die face for common castings.
	Coarse	Metalcote 27	Grey Paste	A rough finish dressing to assist flow of metal when producing thin sections and large flat surfaces castings. Orange skin surface finish.
	Satin-like	Metalcote 28	Ivory Paste	Good life and good insulation. Widely used as primer coating in dies, producing aluminium medium size castings.
	Fine	Metalcote 35	Black Paste	It contains graphite and insulating micronized compounds. Lubricating properties suggested for complicated geometry and difficult extraction die cast moulds.
	Medium fine	Metalcote 55	Red Paste	Insulating for general use on moulds for all type of castings geometries. Also used as a primer layer before Metalcote 35 on large size cores.
	Fine	Metalcote 79	Ivory Paste	High temperature and very strong adherence: used for intricate shapes and when extended lifetime is needed
T	Medium	Metalcote 4515	Slightly red paste	Dressing with smooth surface finish and good adherence for gravity dies. Ideal for motorcycles cylinder heads producers.
	Fine	Newcote 3450	White	Product for application on launders and hot top headers contains boron nitride. Also suitable for ingot moulds.
	Fine	Newcote 4200	Light blue	Coating for ceramic pre-cast shapes used in continuous casting tables, hot top ring and launders. Also applicable on ceramic pouring ladles and funnels.

Light Brown Fluid

Insulating coating for the sides of dies in low pressure machines. Especially developed for the solidification process of aluminium car-wheels. It guarantees a long life. It can be applied over Metalcote 77/1.

Coarse	Metalcote 110	Black Paste	Heat conductive coating, based on micronized graphite, suspended in water, recommended for castings difficult to extract from the die, also for cores and moving parts Aluminium and copper alloys.
Medium fine	Metalcote 221	Black Paste	Graphite based release for moulds and moving mechanisms in aluminium or copper alloys foundries. Quenching tanks and ingot moulds.
Coarse	Hydrocote 12	Off-white Powder	Dry powder to be diluted in water, suitable for coating sand moulds and cores of copper based alloys. Also applied in feeding areas of gravity dies in aluminium foundries.
Fine	Grafo spray 310	Black	Protective and lubricant spray can agent containing special micronized graphite. Acting as a lubricant and as a parting agent on the mould , extrusion dies , moving parts.
