Our coatings have been developed in our labs and following our customer requirements. Standard vehicle is water and formulation are studied to reduce any foundry environment risks.
Technical and Material Safety Data Sheets are available upon request for each individual products.
The water based coatings are formulated to give insulating and conductive properties. The diluted product can be applied by spray gun or brush on steel, cast iron dies , dense refractory or ceramic surfaces in contact with molten non-ferrous alloys.
Insulating => coatings are used to control metal solidification process, minimize shrinkage behaviour of the alloy and give an appropriate surface cosmetic finish.
Lubricating => graphite based coatings are suitable to lubricate die mechanisms, slides and extracting pins to reduce wear on moving sections of the dies.
Protecting => agent family is including coating based on refractory materials capable to resist molten metal erosion. They provide a layer over the substrate which could be affected by metal temperature, wear and erosive behaviour.
